Shortly after breakfast, you will join us for an orientation. There we will introduce you to your guide who will be with you all throughout the trek and today's city tour. After the orientation, you will visit a few important cultural and historical sites to help learn a little bit about Nepal. For Lunch, we will take you to a well-known tourist area called Thamel, which is located in the old traditional city of Kathmandu where you can buy souvenirs for your friends and families back home and do more exploring.

          Included meals: breakfast, lunch

          Day 3: Kathmandu to Pokhara

Today you will be on a tourist bus for a 6-7 hour ride to Pokhara with your guide. After you've arrived in Pokhara, your guide will walk you through some basic things like understanding the Nepali culture, trek preparations, packing list, and show you the trekking route on a map. The rest of the day is off. You can rest, go boating in the Phewa lake, go for a walk, or chill out at the famous lakeside road in Pokhara.

          Included meals: breakfast, lunch

          Day 4: Drive to Nayapul (1065 m / 3494 ft) and trek to Ghandruk (1940 m / 6360 ft)

After breakfast in the morning, you have an hour-long drive to the trek start. A short tea break in Nayapul and you will start hiking to Birethanti which is a beautiful town beside the Modi River. After lunch in Birethanti, we will hike to Ghandruk Village which is a beautiful mountain village mostly inhabited by the Gurung community and this is where we will spend our first night on the trail. In the evening, we will go for a walk around the village and learn more about culture and tradition.

          Hiking hours: 6

          Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

          Day 5: Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170 m / 7120 ft)

Today, the hike is a mix of up and downhill. In the morning, we will start the day with a steep uphill to Khimrundanda. On the way up, you will be able to enjoy some spectacular mountain views. You will have a few more uphills and downhills before you reach Chhomrong village. The village is widespread over a hillside and gives stunning views of Mt. Annapurna and Machupachare. Mountain views are particularly good in the early morning.

          Hiking hours: 5

          Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

          Day 6: Chhomrong to Bamboo (2310 m / 7578 ft)

Today, we are going to hike more than twenty-four hundred stairs down to Chhomrong river. Don't worry, it is not as bad as it sounds. After the long descend you will hike uphill to Sinuwa. You will be hiking through some beautiful forest sections which are life-giving before we make a gentle descend towards Bamboo village.

          Hiking hours: 5

          Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner

          Day 7: Bamboo to Deurali (3230 m / 10,595 ft)

It's gonna be a little chilly and damp in the forest but after a while, it opens up again and you can enjoy the good view with a burst of sunshine. We will be hiking uphill for the most times along the glacier river on our right-hand side, all the way to Deurali. The way to Deurali provides a lot of beautiful sceneries for us to enjoy and stay motivated as we hike up.

          Hiking hours: 4

Day 8: Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m / 13545 ft) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3700 m/12,135 ft)

You will gain around 900 meters of elevation today. The hike can be a bit tough as you start gaining elevation and go above the tree line. Your guide will be asking you to drink lots of water to make sure that you are hydrated and enjoying the hike. You will stop for a few moments at a viewpoint in between to enjoy an outstanding view of mountain peaks. After a stop, will get ready for a final push to the base camp. As we get closer, sensational views of the near-vertical south face of Annapurna will keep us motivated. Once we are at the base camp, it's time to grab a cup of hot tea and enjoy the mesmerizing view of the Annapurna Himalayan range.

          Hiking hours: 6

Day 9: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo

A morning like this at the base of Annapurna is very special and not everyone gets to experience it. You have worked hard for this and you will soak in everything you can.

The hike today isn't so difficult altitude wise since we will be going down for the most times. We will hike back to Bamboo village where we had stayed a night on our way up. A long day like this can be hard on your knees, so bringing your trekking poles with you can be helpful on such days.

In the evening, we will sit around the fire to warm ourselves with a cup of tea.

          Hiking hours: 6

          Included meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner
